I would suggest getting something with 88 keys with piano like weighted action so you can learn proper techniques. Some models to consider would be: The Casio Privia Series The Yamaha YPG series The Yamaha P series The Roland FP series The Roland RD series The Kurzweil SP88 Most of these are reasonably priced and will good to learn on. I would suggest maybe purchasing used unless your absolutely sure you are going to do this. If you are there are some higher end models to consider but for now I would get something less complex to learn on.
