WinstonGrover
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this wiring question. I recently bought a used Strat Squire that I would like to modify. My intention is to attach a small contact microphone to the tremolo plate on the back of the guitar body so I can pick up the internal hum from the bridge. After the microphone is attached I then plan on wiring a jack to the microphone, using an AB switching pedal to change between the guitar's main jack and the microphone jack. So my question is if this will cause any problems with the grounding of the guitar. If I run a metal mic from the bridge - AB switch - amp will this change the normal ground? Thanks in advance for any help
