Hardtail
Hey! That's great news! So when are you starting practices? Do you have any gigs lined up? These guys (bass and drummer) are finishing up some gigs this month with another band. They're getting sick of the "lame" tunes they're doing and their prima donna guitar players (have 2). They want to break away and rock! Me and the studio Marshall delivered (after I figured the damned thing out. LOL). We'll get together and start rehearsing consistently at the end of the month. These guys are looking at about 5-6 months before we do a gig... but we could be ready sooner... who knows?

Hardtail
For the audition we did: Train, Train -- Blackfoot (I sang it) Crossroads -- Cream Sunshine of Your Love -- Cream White Room -- Cream We're an American Band -- Grand Funk All Right Now -- Free ... I know... lots of Cream but they were fun. Now that I'm in, we'll be putting together some songs to begin working on. Some of the ones I want to do: Old Aerosmith... Mama Kin or Toys in the Attic would be a good start. Some Ted Nugent (If this MI guy can get the LI'ers out here to do it) Some Thin Lizzy. That's all I can think of at this time but I think you get the gist of the kind of music we're playing.

Hardtail
Yeah.. I'm happy. I've been working very hard this last year and a half just to get good enough again to jam with others. Playing the guitar, the music I play, by myself is just no fun. It's much better to make noise with others. LOL!
Guitarzan
for sure. i haven't jammed or played with the guys for quite a few months. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will

Zuben
I can't tell you how hard it has been on me not to play with people and not just tracks! If I do make it to NOLA Jazzfest this year, I will have a soundcheck under my belt. Just a little pressure to perform but once that 1st bar is out of the way, I usually go into a zone so I am looking forward o it! I just hope the Docs clear me!
