Moonglow
OK gang, I have $1,300 in store credit at Sweetwater Music, and I'm thinking of picking up either a MEK or a Little Phatty (Stage Edition). Historically, I've always loved the "Moog sound" but the MEK has some bells and whistles that make it quite attractive. I've played neither instrument which, of course, I intend to do. After seeing the following videos, I'm still confused so I thought I would solicit the opinions of you fine folks. http://www.gearwire.com/dave-smith-monoevolver.html http://www.sonicstate.com/news/shownews.cfm?newsid=4205 I sincerely apologize if this comparison has already been done, but I couldn't find one using the search function. Bluescreen
I sincerely apologize if this comparison has already been done, You needn't apologize. There hasn't been a comparison yet because the two aren't comparable. There is very little that they have in common. Actually you need both

Marzzz
Consider getting a Phatty, then picking up either a MED or PER off eB@y later on....
KCLau
I would consider getting the Phatty too. Nothing special, just my personal choice. I wish I can have both too! http://pianologist.com Innovative piano playing
