Does anyone have any "first hand" knowlege of Marshall's MG series? My lead guitarist needs a new combo, and was looking at the MG250 with 2x12's/50 watts each in stereo.

I own a MG100, and are very similar. Some key information:

1) Gets respectable tone, can't beat a tube however :thu:

2) Don't stand near it when turning the volume up, otherwise you'll get nasty feedback.

3) The tone gets better as you turn it up

If you have any other questions, just ask.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Thanks Zephyr. I did notice the feedback on it, while at GC plugging into different amps. I thought it was just the guitar, that primarily caused feedback. It did get nasty once but, we were sitting right in front/facing it.
