I can't vouch for the guitar itself, not being an authority on year models of Gibson, but just pulling a listing is not necessarily an indication of fraudulent activity. You might email the seller and ask him why he removed it prior to this.

I've pulled a listing or two of my own for reasons beyond my control, such as being called out of town and not back in time for shipping etc. I've relisted them later when the timing was better. Could be something like that.

He seems to list all of his items multiple times. Did you read any of his feedback? He has a number of "did not send item but refunded me" kind of feedback.

I'm not sure he's scamming in that he does not seem to be keeping the money for items he does not send, but I think he's shady. He seems to be listing his items more than once simultaneously and taking the highest sale.

On closer look, I'd stay away from him. It appears as though the guitar is getting a number of bids on all three listings.
