mdrs Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 I always liked Heart. But, I think they were big when I was a "med school monk".....I kind of missed them. But, if either of them had asked me for help with impregnation, I'd have gladly obliged. And, the singer (sorry, I forget her name) HAS MAJOR VOCAL CORDAGE. Don "There once was a note, Pure and Easy. Playing so free, like a breath rippling by." http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=574296 http://www.myspace.com/imdrs
mdrs Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 But, I always liked the guitar player sister. The fact that her voice wasn't up to her sister's never bothered me at all. Pappy P Posted September 5, 2006 Author Posted September 5, 2006 lol How in world did the Great Kat come up? There is no room in my head for anyone else when I'm thinking about Nancy. However, I wish people would stop being mean to people like Carne Wilson, Natalie Maines, Ann Wilson, Winonna Judd, Mama Cass, etc., just because they don't have Barbie doll figures. Those girls can sing, that deserves respect. Why can guys be as fat and/or ugly as they want to be with out having it thrown in thier face? If this continues I will sic Aretha Franklin and Chaka Khan afta yo arses. www.birdblues.com My Stuff On Sound Click

Dr. Ellwood Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Sure is!! yeah and he collects the donations from Lady Soul's fathers church too and drives her around the town in city vehicles and hauls her bling bling around! http://www.thestringnetwork.com
Zuben Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I remember Leslie West being asked why he learned to play guitar. (Paraprased) How else can a fat ugly kid get laid. (Or some other sex act) I don't recall Meatloaf being slammed as a talent because he was fat. Then there is the Skinny Elvis, Fat Elvis debate.. :-) Admit it.. we guys have a view of rock chicks, a very stereotyped view. Anyone remember Linda Ronstadt in those cut offs and roller skates? I saw Linda last year and she is still an amazing performer. I still see that album cover when ever I listen to her. Talent is talent, I could care less about how much they weigh. Of course, I still see Linda in those cutoffs and the Wilson sisters struting the stage. Peace http://www.spotcheckbilly.com http://www.littlefeat.net http://www.bonnieraitt.com
