Hello brothers!

Prompt please, how to pick up a pair guitar + amp? n our group are two keyboardman playing at the same time. I am the unique guitarist, therefore on a concert guitar is badly heard from togo that the keys play on all range of frequencies and thus muffle everything

In also I prefer tube sound, because I like that it sounds softly and like to play on Les Pauls.

Well, I don't know.

I often find that keyboard players tend to play too many notes, maybe you could solve the amp problem (for free) by getting the keyboards guys to play simpler arrangements and leave you more room in the mix?

If they don't want to do that, then they could make sure they don't use any patches that sound like guitars so that you have your own space.

Otherwise (and this is not the best solution) get a bigger amp. But a lot depends on how much you are willing to spend on the amp, doesn't it?

Dunno what's available in your country, but Marshalls, Carvins, Fenders, Boogies, and others sound great with Les Pauls, as do some Gibson amps. If you're on a budget, I'd have to recommend Carvin as the best overall value - great quality and affordability. Definitely get a tube amp.
Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!

You have to find a way to carve out your own space sonically. Even in a really dense arrangement you should be able to find your own space by filling in the register that they aren't in and fiddling around with eq settings to make your tone distinct from theirs. To a large extent that's the soundmans job.

If you are the lone guitarist in a mess of keyboards, you need to go with a guitar that cuts through. I'd go with a Stratocaster myself, because they have more variety, tonally. But, a Telecaster would work great, too. A Les Paul's humbuckers are gonna be a little bit too warm to really carve out a sonic space in the midst of all that.

Go for a tone that stings and bites. And definitely get a new amp. Tubes are fine, and if you can get a 4x12 cabinet, you ought to be just fine.

Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
