bernie sawford
I have seen them on the net and have in the past downloaded a virtual tuner to my computer. This was some time ago and the site seems to have closed down. Do you know any sites that offer a downloadable tuner? If you can't Rock, don't bother to Roll! Bluesape
The dial tone here is A440. Dunno if it's the same in the UK. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
Trucks
Quite a handy program is Guitar Pro. It has a built in tuner that works with your Mic or Line in. You can also use it to open/create Guitar Pro tab files which gives you the tab, the sheet music and a fret board layout giving you what each note played is, and also plays the music so you can hear roughly what it should sound like. Its what im using to get to grips with understanding music notation. Soundclick Myspace
Trucks
Oh it also can multitrack so you can have seperate tabs for the bass line and drums. So when you play the music you can remove the guitar part from the mix and play along to the bass and drums. Soundclick Myspace
miroslav
Oh...I thought you were asking about virtual strobe tuners...like the ones from Peterson. I love my VSAM! (But it's not downloadable. ) miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important."
