Great tune. So what IS that guitar at the end of it? I've always loved the sound of it, but I've never given much thought to the guitar itself. After very intensive searching, the only thing I could find out was that, the guitar was played by a studio musician named Hugh Burns. He's played on a ton of very well known songs. I couldn't find anything about what type of guitar he was using. Craig Stringnetwork on Facebook String Network Forum My Music

Dr. Ellwood Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Getting closer! "Hughs instrument of choice is a Gretsch Synchromatic C400 fitted with an Armstrong pickup. He also uses the more familiar Gibson ES-345 and Ibanez George Benson guitars. http://www.thestringnetwork.com

picker Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 I voted for Baker Street myself, although I had a tough choice between it and Soul Sacrifice. Santana's first album was such a revelation to me at the time it came out, and Soul Sacrifice was my first favorite off of it. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
