SF audio
I have a 67' pro reverb, which sounds fine when the reverb is set to zero, but as I turn up it up, the noise gets progressively worse and becomes unuseable around 7/8. It's hiss, static, intermittent bloches, etc - all kinds of crap. My first thought is changing the reverb tube. Of the six preamp tubes, which one drives the reverb? If that doesn't do it, what other issues cause the reverb to go bad? Anything I can check before it goes to the amp tech?
