GuitarPlayerFL
I get about 23 inline JPG image spams a day...the filters don't catch it. The ones with nonsense Subjects and bogus text hiding underneath a spam message in JPG form. Does anybody know how to filter this? I have too many business contacts using my address to have to change it. Spammers should get the death penalty. Warthog
I flippin' hate those stupid e-mails! Somebody got my e-mail address and sends me stupid penny-stock picks every day, like 5 or 6 a day, and they always come under a false name with a silly false title. I probably get 50 e-mails a day and maybe 2 or 3 are from people I know. No, I don't want to meet Christian Singles in my area! No, I don't want a free laptop! No, I don't want to know what the top 10 mistakes men make with women are! No, I don't want to change insurance companies! No, I don't want to try Men's Journal for a month for free! No! No! No! OK, I'm calm now...
GuitarPlayerFL
I think I may have found something to help...at least if you use Mozilla Thunderbird like I do, but this should help for other filters if you set it up the same way. Griffinator
Pretty simple for me - I use Yahoo mail, and anything that has a stupid topic line gets deleted. I don't even look at them. A bunch of loud, obnoxious music I USED to make with friends.

I don't remember readjusting myself in school... -------------------------------------- Most of the time children spend inschool they are readjusting themselves. Forhis trousers were held by steel clamps around his ankles. Then she left the white table-cloth out altogether, preferring oilcloth. Winter or summer, he rose at four inthe morning and started the fires. Both Ruth and Abe were aware of these things. Ill give you that much or more every year. Ruth rose and opened the door to the bedroom. That brought the east line to apoint just beyond Hartleys and Shilloes claims. Abe, who stood on top of the load, looked up. But Abe cut him short by reaching for his lines. But since Abe had fallowed a quarter section,he could not afford to buy new implements. Dont you show me every hour, every minute we spendtogether that you disapprove of me, of all I am? She hadcaught herself wishing that she could make herself invisible; shewas getting stout. Well have to have a meeting over it, Abe. And Abe waved his arm toward the patchwork house. This from Marion who, in a coltish way, wasgrowing into a particularly pretty little girl. Suppose the children were noisyand Ruth tried vainly to quiet them. A week later he brought thatnew bedstead home; and henceforth they slept apart. That fellow Fairley who owns the northeast quarter saw me intown. The Hartley and Shilloe kids will have to walk, I suppose. The three olderchildren were playing about the granary. Well have to have a meeting over it, Abe. What, next, was to be the name of the district? Hehimself never even hinted to Mary of his criticism of Ruth. Atfirst, she had omitted the white tablecloth only when Abe wasabsent from a meal. It was a good year, but the work was noteasy. Abe was so much interested that he gave the man his exactlocation and asked him to call. A cluster of grainelevators came into view in line with Morley. At home, Abe broke the news one night at the supper table. Theres only one name fitting for this school we are goingto build. However, seeing as Im going to move in here, I guess Ill meet youagain. Neither could utter aword which found the others approval. But time and energy were lacking;he closed his eyes while he could. I I mjrn
I have a yahoo account 2, (like Griff) but I still get a fair...or unfair!... amount of garbage that makes it 2 the N box. Like most aspects of the Net, as soon as some1 devises a way 2 do something, aome1 else devises a way 2 get around that. A particularly bad aspect of the modern Net is that spammers can get non-tracable email addresses so even trying 2 track them or punish them is fruitless, legally or by the old "mailbomb" technique. The best bet's 2 just avoid anything that U don't recognize. Just mass delete it without Nvestigation. That works unless U axually do business with a lotta people & there4 get legit mail from strangers; then Ur, unfortunately, prolly always gonna get some clutter. A good 2ndary tactic is 2 maintain separate email addresses for Ur business, personal & general public online activities. I gotta say, so far the 21st C is not living up 2 the advance hype... caprae
My Apple Mail program puts them in my SPAM folder for me. I still hate having to delete them, though. At least I don't have to open them to delete them. Who knows what kind of spyware/viruses lurk in/under those jpgs. Raise your children and spoil your grandchildren.
