Justus A. Picker
One of the best investments you can possibly make is "The Beatles-Complete Scores" published by Hal Leonard. It has all the parts of every song recorded by the Beatles, guitar tab, drum parts, bass, strings, etc. Working through it and learning all the parts is an excellent lesson in song construction. It's also nice having that entire body of work at your fingertips as a reference. http://www.smokedsalmonband.com/exile/exile1.jpg

John O. Lennon
I've not been fully through the book Picker mentions but Beatles maven & U of MI music professor William Everett, author of a 2 volume study of that band's music insists there are a few mistakes. Even so it's an excellent collection and I'd point out that one can find it at many libraries, especially those attached to college music departments, so one needn't splash the full $100+ cost out.
