Bluesape
Clapton used a wah, and some chorus, I think. Dunno what Keef uses. I've never explored his work - it's sorta off my radar. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
jimash
White Room sounds like Fuzz box or treble booster+ Wah-wah sttraight into the mixing board. "can't you hear me knocking " ...... Les PAul Special, into FEnder Showman or Bassman. IMHO

Mudcat
Welcome to the forum. On "White Room" Clapton is definitely using a wah wah pedal. Not sure about Keith's rig, but I suspect it some combination of guitar -> cord -> amp. Mudcat's music on Soundclick "Work hard. Rock hard. Eat hard. Sleep hard. Grow big. jimash
If I cut down on the coffee can I hang around ? Yes welcome. On the end of . can't you hear me, the lead is just drenched in reverb.
Gruupi
Yeah it sounds like Mick Taylor had a good amount of reverb on that lead in "Can't you hear me knocking", it sounds like Keith is just guitar into amp. I don't know if Mick Taylor's reverb was on the amp or added afterwords.
