The Closer

Mrs. Rampdog watches the Closer every week and a couple of weeks ago I watched it. The show is a bore to me BUT the music is awsome! The guitar work is so tasty... Does anyone know who is playing that? I've checked and can't find out. Some nice slide...blusy sounds... I need your help out there.

Thanks 55...I see he scored it and composed it but I don't think that is him playing the guitar. If you find out anymore please let me know. Have you heard the guitar throughout that whole show?

I watched that show the other week and, you're right. The guitarwork is pretty tasty. Not sure if it really fits the show, but I like it anyway.

 

Whatever bacame of having decent music on TV shows? Old 70s TV shows have some pretty amazing scores, these days all they do is whack on a bunch of singles.

Glad someone else noticed this music ... I watch this show every week now just to hear the music.... Now I've been tweakin' the amp and Strat to try to get that sound... I'm finding my Compression/Sustainer has gotten me closest... Throw in my poor slide and I'm gettin close...
