Fumblyfingers Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 I keep hearing in the last few days about a new vaccine to help quit smoking. It is supposed to be way more effective than Nicorette and the patches. This might be good news brewing for those wanting to stop the cig habit.

I spoke to 2 different MD's about it...neither of them put much stock in it. I've talked to a couple of people that have used it....one swears by it, the other says it didn't do anything at all for her. I guess it's like any other quit-smoking aid...you gotta be ready to quit. If you're really ready to quit and you really want to quit, I don't think it makes much difference what you use, if anything.
