JeffBecksroadie Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Good news, good news! I will be trying for the Chicago show, unless they announce a twin cities stop. I saw a 1995 show at the Summerfest grounds on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. I saw Beck, then left 2 or 3 songs into Santana, sorry Carlos. When Mr. Beck leaves the stage, thats it, you've been to the Holyland and what else is there? Then Again in '99 in Cincinnati for the 'Who Else' tour. Then twice here in Murderapolis in '00 or '01. He opened a couple of those shows with 'What Mama Said', and it was amazing!! He does a perfect instrumental version of 'A Day In The Life' that will put a smile on your face ear to ear. At the end of one show, he tossed his glass slide out to a guy in the front. It broke on the floor, and Jeff went up to the mic and said, "well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be." It was precious!! I never saw Randy or Eddie, but I have been in the house of Beck. Please go too!
Gifthorse Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Checked out that video last night, I thought i posted about it but I just looked at the topic and it is locked and there isn't any posts. Anyways Beck is a complete timeless badass. His tone is in his hands!! http://flagshipmile.dmusic.com/ http://www.myspace.com/gifthorse
