A String Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I heard on the news that the Halifax show is an outdoor, "Lawn" show. The tickets are $120 for lawn seating! For $300 you can have a seat in the specially made bleachers... Craig Stringnetwork on Facebook String Network Forum My Music

Pretty insane, but having seen them twice on this tour, money well spent to me. I'll just keep driving my '99 Civic for a few more years... I was born at night but I wasn't born last night...
JLsound Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I have yet to see the Stones in concert, and yet they are one of my favorite bands. They played Connecticut last year at one of the new football stadiums outside of Hartford. My brother went and said it was an excellent show. I have heard that they still put on fantastic shows. I know the dilemma regarding ticket prices. I hope I do get to see them at one point, but I may have to sacrifice my kid's college fund . Anyway, I have been listening to Tattoo You lately. Great album. I have been digging "Slave". It has a good groove. Jim http://www.artistlaunch.com/artist4.asp?artistid=3633 http://www.myspace.com/jlockmusic

Treat yourself to one incredible show with TRUE Superstars. The same goes for the WHO. http://www.thestringnetwork.com
A String Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Yeah, the only two on my list of "Must See Bands" that I haven't seen yet is The Stones and The Who. I've seen everyone else. Craig Stringnetwork on Facebook String Network Forum My Music
LeftyBlues Posted July 26, 2006 Author Posted July 26, 2006 JLsound, go see them. I'd never seen them live until last September. My guitar teacher just kept telling me to go, thank God he did. Absolutely electrifying show! My twin brother wasn't even a big fan of their music until I talked him into seeing them in Baltimore. He hasn't listened to anything but them since that show back in February. Yes it's a lot of money, but oh my is it ever worth it! I was born at night but I wasn't born last night...

They have been one of my main influences in song writing as well as bass and guitar playing. Jim http://www.artistlaunch.com/artist4.asp?artistid=3633 http://www.myspace.com/jlockmusic
