Hac Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Hey there, I was just wondering if anyone can reccomend a good tremolo pedal?
UnderTheGroove_dup2 Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 The Fulltone is really nice. I have a Voodoo Labs that I'm pretty happy with. Year End Sale: Save 20% on Jam Tracks or Exotica. Save 30% when you buy both. Sale ends December 31. www.UnderTheGroove.com
Squ Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Screw tremelo, this is the shit: http://www.sonicstate.com/news/shownews.cfm?newsid=2246 Near the end of the video he plays it more like a guitar. Red Red Rockit
picker Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 As weird as it might sound, the old Ibanez Sound Tank series pedals had a tremolo that really sounds good. The pedal has a plastic case, but it is pretty tough. One cool feature it has that I don't see on many trem pedals is the output boost on it. If you set the trem depth a low as it will go, you can use it for a unique sounding clean boost. I've had one for over ten years, and it has done me very well. If you can find one, they go for pretty cheap, too. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
revolead Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 My vote is for the Fulltone SupraTrem. It's the only pedal I'd even consider (though I haven't heard some of the other boutiques) if you're big on natural sounds and not on fluff and modernism. You can listen to it on the Fulltone Website. Shut up and play.
Hac Posted July 26, 2006 Author Posted July 26, 2006 Cheers mate, big help. Someone actually recommended Fulltone 69 pedal to me as I was going to buy a fuzz face, but i'm not sure, what dyou think??
Phillydor Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I have an old Schaller tremelo pedal that has never let me down. I don't even know if they still make them, but it's one of my fave pedals.
