powertab question

Is there a way to seperate one part of a powertab song? For instance, there is usually two guitar parts that you hear. Is there a way to silence say the second guitar so that you can only hear the one you want? I hope this is not a stupid question and if it is please don't tell me!!!!!

I know that guitar pro lets you do it, besides letting you mute the other instruments but i never messed with powertab... good luck man =]

Yea, Superdave, you can do it. Go to the top toolbar and click on guitar. Then choose the one you want to delete and click on the x. Definately save the original ptb file first.

Or, you click on the red guitar icon, select the guitar you don't want to hear and choose "off" in the volume section. 'Important' You have to click OK for each time you make a change here, so if there are more guitars you want to cut you have to click OK for each one and re-open the red guitar icon each time(if you just select off for one guitar, then choose another guitar before hitting OK it won't work.
