superdave
I bought the Squire Strat pack and it came with the Fender Frontman amp, It relly does sound cheesy. I want to upgrade to a better one without spending a fortune. What would be a good upgrade say for around 200 bucks?
Pappy P
Marshall-MG15DFX-Combo-Amp About $170 Solid State with an 8" speaker. Will sound much better than that peice of crap that comes with the Strat pack. I got one of those two. P. Pappy P
About $230 /Marshall-MG30DFX-Combo I like the way this one sounds to. All three of these amps have a few usable effects. The clean sounds alright, and the overdrive is nice. http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/1/8/6/425186.jpg www.birdblues.com My Stuff On Sound Click

Pappy P
Now it's good to have and amp, and a lot of fun to play loud. But when I've played live with my church's praise band, I plugged my Digitech RP300A into the board. It sounded fine, to me anyway. I use it for all my recording. It's a fun little multi-effect pedal.
