Jazz Guitar Body Shape

We know that the Precision Bass body shape is obviously influenced by the Strat.

 

However, the Jazz bass has always been one of my favourite body shapes, yet there is no derivative guitar body.

 

I'd love a Strat-sized Jazz body. Stick a large-headstock neck on and Jazzmaster pups (or P90s) and you'd have something special.

I have always thaought that the off-set waist bodies used by Jazzmasters & Jaguars are somewhat derivative of the Jazz Bass.

Yes, agreed, but the cutaway horns are completely different, and I just love the proportion of those on the Jazz bass.
