Very impressive! What's crazy is she sounds a lot like my friend (not only when she sings) who might start playing/performing with me if he have time/nerves for it. She only sings and does a bit of percussion, it would be just me on the guitar, though I might teach her a little. This is way cool, she has sort of the style we want to go for. Although my friend probably has more of an Ani DiFranco influence. Love her sound!

 

I'm definitely going to look out for her records.

Nice pappy, there's nothing like kids growing up with guitars... Is she actually serious about learning or just posing with the guitar?

She wants to learn, but she wants to learn violin too. And she wants to be a zoo keeper or a vetranarian.

 

I started late and gave up many times.

 

So we will just have to wait and see.

 

I can only hope that my son or daughter will become as accomplished as Kaki.

Well, I was sort of the odd ball in my family. My parents are both musical in the sense that they have good ears and good taste, but they don't play any instruments. My mom signed me up for classical guitar lessons very early just to give me someting to do and because she loves classical guitar music. I didn't really become interested until much later though, a long time after I quit lessons, so you never know.

Why doesn't she paint her tone nails.
