caprae Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I've been having a hard time finding anything U.S. related to this guitar. I'm not getting any info off of the Ibanez Forum. Does anyone know anything about these? Years made? Original selling price? Were they ever sold in the U.S. or were they strictly Japanese? How do I figure out the year it was made? If it is like Alvarez, they use the year of the emporer. (There was a whole ordeal on the Ibanez forum, but it didn't seem to apply to this one.) The one I have says, "Ibanez Artwood Series Hand crafted from select solid woods in Owari Asahi Japan" The serial number is 0608045 AW-60 Here are a some Japanese sites I've found, but the translation leaves a lot to be desired. I can't even find it on harmony central. Japanese #14 but different tuners than mine Japanese 2 same except mine has a wood pick guard Japanese 3 Mine looks like this (pick guard/tuners) Raise your children and spoil your grandchildren. Spoil your children and raise your grandchildren.

caprae Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 Searching through those sites led me to an Ibanez forum that I had posted the question on days ago. Either no one knows anything or the forum is not frequented very often. I havn't received any real replies yet. Raise your children and spoil your grandchildren. Spoil your children and raise your grandchildren.
