I might rephrase my answer Same old surprises, brand new cliches- Skipsounds on Soundclick: www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandid=602491
The Big G Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 yeah he can play, very impressive, cant say I love the style of music but i would love the ability. "Skip" I agree i no longer play I just fiddle around Love life, some twists and turns are more painful than others, but love life..... http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=592101
Tedster Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 I just dug watching him play...the sax dude would fire off a lick, then Conti would fire one back, with this big ol' smile on his face. Do you suppose waist size is directly proportional to finger speed? Thanks! That drummer looked to be about 15. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Tone Taster Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Man, did you catch that augmented arp/chord slide riff? Yeah, what he is playing is cool, but do you think the dude is capable of playing some Foghat?

Bbach1 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Aside from the drummer, those dudes look almost as old as most of us! Nice finger work there, Mr. Conti. I like it. bbach Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

If Allan Holdsworth played straight Bebop, it would sound similar to some things RC plays on his recordings. I can't believe Guitar Player is not pushing his playing more....like a **COVER** story!? Joe Pass, Pat Martino, and Allan Holdswoth have had covers....it's time for a player of Conti's caliber to be on the cover.
