Tone Taster Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Evidently, this was THE cat in Frisco who influenced many of the fusion cats on the west Coast back in the day http://www.terryhaggerty.com/index4.html Man, his playing on red House is pretty sick

Jedro Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 He was/is in Sons of Champlin with Bill Champlin, right? An utterly fantastic band. Deserved more than what they got. Everybody knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact. - Homer Simpson
Jedro Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Ok I just checked the link and saw it's the same Terry Haggerty as I thought. I haven't heard him in years - the last thing I heard was a live Sons of Champlin reunion concert released several years ago. He's a great player. BTW, Sons of Champlin were a band in the 60's/early 70's from San Francisco. They had a few albums out, but never attained much success. Bill Champlin, who later joined Chicago(around 1980 or so) was in the group. It says he's living in a storage/rehearsal facility. I hope that it's not as bad as it sounds. That would be sad. Best of luck to Terry. Everybody knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact. - Homer Simpson

Shower, toilet - Frig- Industrial Sink-Toaster Oven- Hot Plate-Mini microwave - Crock Pot and GEAR !!!
