Mass Effect
JB is the guest this morning on "Car Crazy" with Barry Meguiar,7:30 am Central on SPEED. Sorry for such short notice but just saw it on the program guide myself. Evidently he's into building hot rods. Thought some of you might find it interesting. quote:Originally posted by mdrs: It's pure B.S., and obvioulsy inaccurate. I suspect it is posted for effect, not for accuracy. Fumblyfingers
More than that he actually rebuilds his rods, motors and all and modifies them himself. I have always had a lot more respect for him knowing that about him, having been a motorcycle mechanic myself for over 23 years... a while back..in another life it seems. I have an affinity for people who work with their hands and are not afraid to get them dirty. I have a bigger affinity for people who know how to "talk to" a motor while they are putiing it back together. There is way more to machinery than just nuts and bolts. There's soul in that shit too brother...hmmm
rotosound45
I've seen a few pictures of JB in magazines with slightly greasy fingernails... After seeing this very episode of "Car Crazy", I understood why. Vintage engine grime can be tough to get out, sometimes.
