Ah, Warthog would pull rank on me and send me out to a hot flight line to do a FOD walk.

In the meantime, he'd be in an air-conditioned office in the hanger playing with my Les Paul. :D:eek:

Considering the personal nature of this, I figure he should be the one to respond. I'll just tell you that it's tough for him and his family. He has a lot of courage. He was unable to make it home for our mothers funeral due to some changes in his chemo. He is always in my prayers.

Now there's a concert I'd like to see.

Man that's cool. Snuck up right behind ya!
That fits perfectly. When I saw Bluesape/Reif's picture I thought he'd photoshop'd his head onto ellwood's. Now throw Paul in there with his red ES-335 :)

Doesn't really work because of the lighting differences - overhead sun vs flash from below. But a nice dream team all the same.

That's hilarious. But I feel so out of place with my red quitar and red shirt. I wish someone would have told me there was a dress code.

Unfortunately, I have very few pictures of me with that guitar. And most of those are from my mullet days. I retired it from active gigging many years ago and now only bring it out for special occasions - mostly outdoor.

Here\'s a zip file with a few pics of me with that beautiful \'65 ES330. Have fun!

I`ve been none too keen on doing this in the past but the mask, so to speak, already came off recently so what the heck-but this one is about two years ago, loading some new ones this weekend. The Strat is not mine BTW, belongs to a friend but I currently have it on loan for a while

Are those all CDs in the background Bill?
The top shelf is books, but behind me on the other side (out of the photo) is the cabinet of vinyl, further around in that direction (also off camera) is the rack of cassettes. Sorry, no 8-tracks ;)

Well, my avatar is a new, ridiculous, self portrait. :o Here it is and another taken at the same time. Note the impressive, $25 First Act acoustic guitar. ;)

Reminds me of our first night in Qatar. The powers that be warned us the Clamshell we were playing in would be in the direct line of fire of two C-17 transport planes during pre-flight tests of their engines. And I mean direct line of fire. We were 200 yards away, but from the time they began for the next 5 minutes you could scarcely yell audible comments to anyone. :D

Jbote....

Dude, I had no idea you were undergoing chemo. Looks like you're kicking cancer's ass! Keep kicking it in the balls! I suppose you know our buddy Daklander is engaged in warfare with that beast, too.

Sending my best out your way, Jbote. Glad to hear you're in remission so soon after chemo. :thu:
