today on the way to school my oldest son wanted to hear Deep Purple Machinehead.

i dug out my dual disc remaster and away we went.

it is nice to revisit stuff we forget to play.

c'mon...c'mon...c'mon lets go space truckin......

i didn't even know they ever heard of Deep Purple.

smart boys they are.

Yea, A few years ago when my boys still lived at home I came into the house to find my son crankin on my copy of Machine Head. I was shocked to find he liked my old favorites.

Machine Head - One of my nine year olds first albums. How many nine year olds can sing a number of Muddy Waters, R.L. Burnside, Buddy Guy, Lightning Hopkins and Hounddog Taylor tunes?

 

Lately she's really been getting into the Chilli Peppers...what a girl!
