blitzkrieg bop
Anyone try/have either guitar? Anyone compare them? Is the Agile worth $100 more? Do they stay in tune? jbote
I have the Agile AS820 and it is probably my favorite guitar. I got mine a while back before Agile shortened the horns so Gibson wouldn't sue. Great neck, easy to play. I had thought about switching out the humbuckers but have been very pleased with them. Stays in tune. Lends itself to all kinds of styles. Quality of workmanship is excellent. I can't speak about the Douglas...but they are considered a definite step down from the Agile. Highly recommended. Fumblyfingers
Bummer 'cos I was considering getting an AS820 but your post led me to look at them again and yeah the shortened "horns" make this guitar look not so hot. I really wanted a 335 clone, looks and all. I cant find an older one on EBay, maybe the Recycler.
