GTRBass
Guitarist Neil Zaza and Keyboard virtuoso Erik Norlander are teaming up for a US club tour, with an East coast portion tentatively scheduled for summer/fall, billed as "The Wizards Tour." It will be Neil's first major tour of the States since 1997, and Erik does not frequently tour the US either. Ironically both of these artists tour in Europe and/or Asia fairly frequently, where of course they are very well received. This is not intended as a SPAM message, but as a request for your support. This is a chance to have your voice heard that you enjoy and want to see this kind of music. Many promoters and talent buyers do not currently view a bill like this as worthwhile. They feel that there is simply no market at all for virtuoso musicians in America. This leaves us, the fans of great music, left out in the cold as far as having an opportunity to see such great players live. If you're a fan of either artist, or a fan of progressive music in general, these guys could really use your support. Below is a list of potential venues, promoters and their contact info. I ask you to consider sending an email to the venue or promoter in your area with inquiries. Let them know that you heard about the show and that you and your friends would be there to support it. Please help to show them that we're out there. Dr. Ellwood
Not much of a rock tour without including Detroit, ROCK CITY! What's up with that? http://www.thestringnetwork.com
GTRBass
The East coast leg needs to get off the ground to demonstrate there is genuine interest in this. Then the Midwest and West Coast portions can happen. Both of these guys are on smaller indie labels, so it's a tough sell. There isn't big money behind them pushing it. coolleo
Norlander Rocks!!! I'd love to see Zaza. I've heard his stuff, but never seen him live.

No Cleveland date either! Given that ZaZa is from Cleveburg and has always had a strong following here that's more than a bit disappointing. http://www.smokedsalmonband.com/exile/exile1.jpg
Gifthorse
I haven't heard much of him. I saw him on that shred video someone posted a few weeks ago. He was tapping some classical sounding stuff. Who can he be compared with? http://flagshipmile.dmusic.com/ http://www.myspace.com/gifthorse
