PBBPaul
Another guitar player with whom I'm doing some duo gigs wants to do a prticular Robben Ford song. He says it's called "Feeling Satisfied". I can't find any evidence of a Robben Ford tune with that name. The song is a smooth Blues kinda thing with uptempo solo breaks (or so I'm being told). Anybody heard of this? Bluesape
He used to play with Charlie Musselwhite - dunno, but maybe there's a reference to it under Charlie's name - or maybe Weather Report's - hope this is helpful. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
Tone Taster
What? Robben recorded w/ weather report ??? Or did you mean Yellowjackets?
PBBPaul
No, it's apparently Robben on vocals. He says that when the beat changes for the solos, there's a line: "Just like music!". I think my friend's dreamin'. Our new and improved website Today's sample tune: Lonesome One

PBBPaul
As far as I know, Robben Ford was never a member of Weather Report. I believe that other members of the Yellowjackets were though. Funk Jazz
do you have any more of the lyrics, Paul? FWIW i'm positive RF was never in weather report. he was in yellowjackets for certain, did some stuff with joni mitchell, witherspoon (as stated) and also did a stint with miles davis. on the DVD Robben Ford in Paris there is a long interview where he goes over his whole musical history, really cool stuff
AlChuck
Robben was never with Weather Report, nor were any of the other Yellowjackets. The song lyrics don't ring a bell at all but then I haven't heard everything Robben's recorded... just most of it...

PBBPaul
Now he says that it's from an album called "Inside Out". I can't find any evidence that the album exists. I think he's making it up.
