dreibel
My vacation time is coming up, and next week I'm going off to San Francisco - main purpose is to go to Macworld Expo. But any guitar-oriented stuff to do while there? I know there's a Guitar Center there, and one of my plans is to do a day trip to Berkeley to check out Subway Guitars/Fatdawg - but any worthwhile places to visit? Wait a minute, GP is based in SF, right? Do they offer tours? Any of you guys fom around there? "I used to be "with it", but then they changed what "it" was! Now what I'm with isn't "it", and what is "it" is weird and scary to me. IT'LL HAPPEN TO YOU!" - Grampa Simpson
Funk Jazz
see if you can catch a show by Crafty Foxes or the Sam Bevan Band (or anyone that Sam might be playing with). Ara Anderson is a great guitar player if you can catch him.
Mike Gug
Mesa Boogie is Bay Area. GP is as well. Never mapped them out though. I try to avoid SF whenever possible. Mikegug www.facebook.com/theresistancemusic

Mike Gug
Eh. Sounds to close to SF for me. I'd rather go to Milan... Mikegug www.facebook.com/theresistancemusic
AlChuck
Check out Real Guitars if you get a chance... Guitar Solo used to be my favorite shop when it was on Clement Street, but it's almost entirely a acoustic guitar place, particularly classical guitar... If you get out of the city there's Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto about 40 miles south of SF.
