My home keyboard is a Yamaha SX900 and has midi in I would set it up to play ACMP. Keytar not purchased yet but was hoping to play the key of C on the keytar and hope the SX900 would then play the chord of C.....Likewise if I played the C key and black one to the left The SX900 would play Cm. Not sure if this would work unless the Keytar had ACMP as well but I have never seen one.

Hi all I was just wondering if any knows would it be possible to use a keytar to trigger single fingered chords of a home keyboard?
