  1. My HS80Ms are miserable towards piano vsts due to being BRUTALLY honest. And Keyscape's C7 is the only piano that makes them smile.
  2. I've gigged with all my workstations over the years. Motif 7 early on and then Kronos later.
  3. I've got gas and need to spend it. Came down between: - PXS-7000 Mustard: $3000 final price, discount drop from $3700. Don't ask...it is what is it where i live (high import costs, terrible customs charges due to inflation etc...) or - Roland RD-2000: With discount, it will probably end up around $3000 as well, maybe even a bit more. I played the Casio last week and i was impressed by that action. More responsive than what i expected. Unlike any action i've played before, just a blast to play. I was a bit apprehensive about the fast key release bounce but i think it's a matter of getting used to it. I played the PHA-50 action two years ago on both an RD-2000 and an LX-705 and it was glorious. Plus the pins they use are peace of mind in terms of keybed durability. Will have a chance to refresh my muscle memory again in couple weeks when the store receives the RD-2000 after being out of stock. My only concern with the RD-2000 is the phobia i have from modeled piano engines. Plus i think it might be an overkill, especially that i'm mainly going to use it in the studio for now to control my beloved Ravenscroft 275. I might get back to gigging in the future, so that factor plays a big role why i'm opting for a stage piano. Tried the FP-10. The PHA-4 keybed is lovely, though my muscle memory still prefers the PHA-50. My decision will be made when i try the RD-2000 again in two weeks, that's when i'll decide.
  4. None taken I think it's easy to judge and assume things when you're not a fan of a certain team and you don't watch their full games week in week out.... which is totally fine and normal. But when you watch their entire games and see how they "take care of things" when they need to the most, how they control the clock, how they dominate the front when it's crunch time, you'll know you've got a great team. It's the little things. Plus, that roster is LOADED with talent on all sides. But again, like i said, it's easy to look from the outside
  5. Ahh good to see this thread still up and running after all those years. My take this season: I'm tired of Cowgirls fans saying "The Eagles have an easy schedule and they haven't played anyone yet". The Eagles like every other team are playing what the schedule gave them, they didn't pick it. They're getting the job done like any great team would do. Cowgirls fans and all the haters want the Eagles schedule to look like this LMAO:
  6. Music video for my recently released single "Essence". This campaign precedes the release of my album (almost done). You can also stream "Essence" on all platforms: https://linktr.ee/rabihrihana
  7. Best and win-win solution is obviously go and play it. But i understand not all stores are available in every corner of the earth In my case, it's either ordering this blind.............OR......buying a mint condition barely played showroom ES8 that's been sitting there for almost a decade. The latter i have tried and i can safely say that i love the action. But i have a gut feeling that those wood inserts in the 7000 will make it edge the RH3 action. Plus, it's Harmonius Mustard!
  8. I want the Harmonius Mustard PXS-7000 but i need to TRY THE ACTION first. The official Casio dealer where i live refuses to at least order one unit to her store to "try before buy". Her excuse is: "It won't sell", "overpriced for the market here". To be fair, she's right hence the country is in severe economic crisis and shock right now (worst in the world at the moment). So the only option she's offering me is to special order it for me. Means i have to take the leap of faith here. I told my buddy in Florida, a jazz pianist: "I'm gonna give myself till Friday until i call her and make my decision". I'm not too picky about keybeds because i'm blessed to be able to adjust to any action (heavy, light etc...), as long as it doesn't suck and lets me do my gymnastics. We'll see.
  9. My favorites are the Italian and Bush's AS Yamaha C7.
  10. My go to is Keyscape's LA Rhodes but i'm really liking the sound of that V-Tines. Acousticsamples make quality stuff.
  11. Ravenscroft for me. The only piano library that brings out the best in me in terms of playing and composing. Brilliant velocity scripting by those guys at VI Labs. It makes me forget (temporarily) about the C7X in a store near me that i used to daydream about daily.
  12. Very sad. My hero passed away on my birthday.
  13. Also, washing hands with high alcohol solution (95%) doesn't protect you. Most effective is soap and water for at lease 20 seconds (sing "happy birthday" until the end).
  14. Fever varies between individuals depending on immune system. You can have it with a borderline very mild or low temperature. Main consistent first symptoms: Severe sore throat for the first 4 days, until it makes its way to the lungs afterwards and starts taking over the respiratory system. Immune system is key here.
  15. My worst pessimistic evil self"s nightmare as an Eagles fan is that this could potentially be Wentz in years to come. Don't even say that out loud. dB Lips sealed. No jinxing.

  17. My latest. Rhodes only from start to finish. [video:youtube]https://youtu.be/eczCJq7bjRQ
  18. I've said it before, if Roland makes a keyboard controller that uses that PHA-50 action, i'll buy it in a heart beat even if i already have what i need. I wonder why they stopped making 88 controllers after the A-88. I've never been keen on their modeling engine, but then i'm biased against piano modeling philosophy hence i can't digest Pianoteq as well.
  19. Buty a C7X and live happily ever after.
  20. Congrats on the CP88. Too many actions, too many choices. FWIW, i liked the action on the Montage 8 but did not like the action on the CLP645 (NWX action ala P-515). I think it also has a lot to do with the sound-to-action immersive experience hence i enjoyed the CFX piano on the montage much more than i did with the CLP 645. It's the whole package, if you found the one (which you did): Jackpot.
  21. https://www.casio-intl.com/asia/en/news/2019/0719_px-s1000rd/ Wow they listened to me (?). I sent this as a request to Mike Martin to be passed along. I also messaged them on instagram requesting this. I'm guessing there are other people who requested this as well. Looks stunning.
  22. Pianos: Garritan CFX, Ravenscroft Electric Pianos: Canterbury Suitcase Organs: PASS Synth: Alchemy synth (Garageband)
