  1. The Seven is very limited in functionality. I can see how it would fit in with a Mojo as a second keyboard. I do not know why they chose to issue it with such limitations - compared with the competition.
  2. It is ugly - I would not have any desire for one. It is very limited in what it does, compared to what I was hoping for - a combo organ like an Electro 5. I know that some gigging musicians might like it but not for me.
  3. Very disappointing ---- for my purposes. I am sure that it will be attractive to some gigging musicians but for me it offers nothing. I don't like the form factor for my home studio and the functions don't add a thing to what I have. I was hoping for a world class combo organ ---
  4. Thanks Chuck! The Dexibell stuff is iteresting to me. Have you had a chance to play the S3 with the TP100? If so, how playable is it? I like the small form factor and weight.

I have and S3 (plus four other Dexibelles). I think it is a wonderful piece of work. I have compared Dexibell's piano to all of my other keyboards and Dexibell is the best. They combine sampling and modeling. Very intelligently done. The powerful quad core processor that they use in all their keyboards provides great ability to do what they want. The sampling length is up to 15 seconds - much longer than any other manufacturer. Controls are well designed and the build quality is excellent. Metal construction.

  5. I received an email from my dealer yesterday saying that they would sell me an Skx for $3600 US. I told them that I understand MAP is $3000 and I expect a 15% discount from MAP, which is the usual deal they always give me. I am waiting for a response.

#Diminishing possibility of me buying one.

  6. Yeah, unless I'm forgetting something, the SKX may be the only 2-manual clonewheel that has 2 sets of drawbars and a piano sound. Seems like a nice niche to have for yourself.

I think it will have a unique position since it has two manuals and a wide variety of sounds....... I am looking forward to hearing the videos.

The DMC-122 with Gemini is probably the only real competitor on features. It had a big edge being able to have two non-organ sounds at the same time, but Hammond catches up on that feature now.

Too bad the DMC-122 has terrible pipe organ sounds in it. Otherwise it might be perfect for some churches.

I you want good pipe organ sounds, the one to get is the Dexibell Classico L3 ---- remarkable - plus it has a wide variety of other sounds also, including their wonderful AP.

  8. Anybody got these in stock? All my usual haunts have it back-ordered or pre-order only.

I think people are discovering Dexibell more and more ---- and they are selling a lot of them --- so the wait.

  9.

I have five Dexibell keyboards and the AP is excellent on all of them. To me they are better than any of the keyboards I own. Part of this is attributable to the basic power of the engine, which is a quad core processor that is capable of 320 oscillators at once. In addition their sampling time is 15 seconds, which is much longer than the usual 3 seconds. On top of all that their modeling is very well designed and implemented. They really know what they are doing.

Is the piano the same on all of these instruments? The same samples, in other words? Or only on some of them? (And I must ask--Why do you have 5 of these fairly recently released keyboards? Beta testing?)

    They are all identical
