  1. Yeah, it's hard to fire Harbaugh since he has that SB as an existence proof, and winning record (some on this forum would point to his age -- he's my age, 61). But he had better find a winning leader for the team, and as good as Lamar is, he is not a championship caliber person. Detroit? Their HC is a loose canon and acts like a rookie player. He lost the game for them and SF got lucky with the comeback.
  2. From what I'm reading in the post-mortems, the Ravens felt they needed to get the big plays to get back into the game quickly rather than patiently relying on their proven weapon. Even the Lamar as running back strategy was abandoned. When the pocket would collapse, instead of running for 30 yards, he would scramble looking for 50 yards and end up throwing it away. Even Harbaugh was at a loss to describe what happened... "It was that kind of a game, I'd say. That's the way it worked out. [That's] the way the game went.". It makes sense... they panicked and they let events overtake a calm strategy. You can't blame them though... Ravens are 0-28 when down >=10 points since 2013 so they aren't a comeback team. My favorite quote of all time from Michael Irvin: "KC came into Baltimore's house and told them where their own pots and pans were gonna be. They took it!!! " This sets Lamar way way back as an elite winner. Shouldn't be in the MVP picture anymore.
  3. The Ravens should have left that pass-heavy game plan at practice.🤣 I think BAL strategy was that Lamar was their running game as he was their number one rusher. Unfortunately, Lamar couldn't run on this KC defense that left him continuously in pocket collapse.
  4. Game isn't nearly over yet, lol. I think it is. Look at their other losses.
  5. Yes, they predicted this based on Goff the superior QB. I knew SF should never have rested their team for the Bye. Niners are going to need to revamp their defense and find a real QB next year. Also expect Shanahan to be fired.
  6. I don't think it came down to anywhere near this. Ravens were completely discombobulated from the 2nd quarter onward. They blew easy plays, passes, and the relentless KC pass rush made Lamar look really really bad. As a result of all this the Ravens lost their cool and got penalized for clear retaliation and taunting. Rookie Flowers blew their chances with the goal line fumble and his subsequent temper tantrum, injuring himself by punching the bench. If I had to summarize, the Ravens left their IQ in the locker room. They couldn't believe what was happening to them and it snowballed.
  7. I always figured that the piano player or the keyboard player in position when the REAL extraterrestrial entities, like similar to when the coneheads REAL planet phoned home would bear weight irregardless of any quantification of quantizication (or quantization) and hertzification of the continuous frequency spectrum that one might wish to restrict.
  8. I would disagree. It’s only offered to owners of the Montage M. And for them, it’s free.
  9. Wow, looking forward to the games tomorrow! The landscape is SO polarized among the various prognosticators! My predictions: - SF Defense shines. Purdy is Purdy and avoids INT. SF + 14 - Mahomes is the best QB of all time and wins in the last 2:00. KC + 4
  10. That’s the reverse direction, you need a Montage to get the ESP which comes with a code for Cubase AI. As opposed to those that purchase full Cubase can add the ESP (as they would Halion or Padshop). Ah, I get your point. Sorry for my confusion. Yes, that would make sense to include it with Cubase (along with a possible upcharge). I've been wanting to try Halion to play with the FM interface.
  11. It is. An access code is provided to download a full version of Cubase AI.
  12. Same here, I'm having an intense bout of GAS although I haven't acted on it. I've got the original Montage8 but this M8x is almost too much to resist. I've never gigged with the Montage8 so I'm thinking of just keeping it as a time capsule. I also have your other hobby (amateur radio) that is tugging at me to get some antennas working at my new locale. It's a curse! Radio, Music, Photography, not enough time!
  13. I doubt I know any more than you. I will agree Kerr leans in that direction but his emphasis on role playing and sacrifice has gotten most players to buy in but others are a little more hard headed. As for Harbaugh, he’s a mix. He still thinks he is a QB on the depth chart but yet he won’t take one iota of shit from anyone. Player or management.
  14. I’d still be interested in comparing the vst audio quality versus the analog outputs of the Montage M HW. Maybe live it’s good enough. Yamaha boasts: [PURE ANALOG CIRCUIT 2] The upgraded Pure Analog Circuit included in MONTAGE M reduces noise and improves the dynamic range, crosstalk, low-frequency phase, and distortion rate, resulting in clearer sound at all volumes. You’ll also find the sound has more detailed low-mids and presence. It’s not clear how the vst models/generates the Montage Synth engine tones but it sounds like they’ve done a good job. And then there is the vst audio interface D/A quality, which is as good as you want to pay for on your compute platform.
  15. I like the happy medium. Like the Jim Harbaughs and the Steve Kerrs.
  16. Same deal with Stanley Cup and Olympic gold medal winning coach Mike Babcock. Bullying and humiliating players was his trademark. Columbus took him off the scrap heap for a test drive last fall, then quickly threw him back after he ordered players to show him the photos on their phones. My money’s on Jurgen Klopp getting an NFL head coaching job before the Hoodie. I don’t like it, but the reality is that the top players are treating themselves as their own brand, with their own podcasts popping up and their whole entourage like a small company. I was a little surprised that Russell Wilson failed in his power play but he doesn’t have that personality and his poor play sort of spoke for itself. Hopefully Sean Payton is the next rabid coach to get banished.
  17. Got it. If I’m reading you right, the Montage digital USB is generating your Montage M sound for comparison with the standalone vst audio. Are you using a good audio output interface on your Mac? I think the acid test is comparing the Montage analog outputs to the standalone vst. As you mention, one would expect the Montage USB digital reconstruction to sound similar (identical?) to the vst since the converters to analog are identical.
  18. Are you saying you only used it as an editor and that the audio was still generated by the Montage M audio outputs? I would be interested in how faithfully the vst generated audio from the computer matches the Montage’s hardware.
  19. It was interesting to listen to Gronk and Edelman reminisce about how intimidating Hoodie was, and they never knew what mood he’d be in or if they dared to even speak in meetings. They were all frightened of him. I’m sure even Hernandez was afraid of him, and he was a psychopathic serial murderer! I don’t think that type of intimidation flies these days. Even Andy, as old school as he is, is a players coach and they love him. It’s a little bit like how Phil Jackson had to be purged out of the NBA because he couldn’t. deal with the new breed of player. I seriously doubt any owner wants to deal with an old codger who will be nothing but headaches day in and day out. Yes he has the resume, but it has expired, and he probably isn’t the best interview in convincing an owner that he is their future. I’m glad that God clipped his wings when he did, and getting to Shula’s record is not gonna happen.
  20. Sooner rather than later the music is going to stop and Bill may be left standing. He has spent all those years cultivating that persona and now it may be his undoing. Nobody likes to be around an unpredictable rabid animal.
  21. You mean those bleeps at 1:44? I never noticed those before. Yes, they are weird. The unintended result of a tape splice, perhaps? Yeah, those are the ones. I always figured they were intentional but quirky.
  22. Harbaugh is a player whisperer. I expect SD to be in the SB within a year or two.
  23. Slam dunk for the Chargers and Harbaugh. I had an offer to relocate to Ann Arbor and would have rather had my leg chewed off by a Wolverine than move to Michigan. Then again John seems to have made a nice home in the murder and crime capital of the East.
