  1. I did exactly that a few months ago...sold my FA-06 to get an FA-07. It was definitely worth the investment. The keybed action and the expanded number of keys was a no brainer, especially with the enhanced functionality of part group selection with the latest OS. It's my upper tier kbd in my live rig (on top of a MOXF8). In fact, it's good enough where I'm thinking of ditching the MOXF8 and just using the FA-07 (single board rig with Mainstage).
  2. Hi, Just installed Keyscape and loving what I hear so far. It seems like on my system the C7 grand has some popping going on though. I doubled my latency from 2 mS to 4 mS and this helps but not entirely... I'm running Windows 7 professional intel i7 2.66 GHz 12 GB RAM Dual 750 GB SATA 7500 RPM drives (data drive contains STEAM) Soundcard is Focusrite Saffire 2x2 original version Based on my system, what do you think would help most from a HW upgrade standpoint to help with eliminating the popping? Upgrading the data drive to SSD or doubling the RAM to 24 GB? I plan on doing both eventually but can only do one at a time due to budget, so which upgrade is more likely to give me band for my buck...SSD drive first? Also if you have any thoughts regarding optimization with my existing system that would be great. I will try thinning and also the brake size and sample preload but not sure how to tweak those effectively. Thanks in advance for your help!
  3. Hey David, That did the trick, thanks. Since I'm still getting up to speed, I had to brute force a few things I'm sure but it's basically doing what I want now. For some reason the MOX was triggering a drum patch with a performance mode master when set to Ch16...so I blanked out the active keyboard range in that zone to fix it. One interesting observation, when the MOX MIDI toggle is set to USB with a USB cable to the computer and a MIDI cable between FA and MOX: with computer powered on there is no note Tx to FA. When I power down the computer, USB toggle still set on MOX, it is transmitting note Tx through MIDI. Assuming that is normal?
  4. Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster...or at least couldn't remember my login and password.. Simple to do I'm sure, but I'm at a point where I'm starting to pull my hair out. I'm trying to set up the MOX to control the entire studio set program change in master mode. I'm using the Melas Master mode editor. When I set the external bank MSB/LSB/Program number per the FA MIDI implementation as 085/000/001 per the guide it changes the first part voice in the particular studio set instead of the studio set itself. All I want to do is set up a particular master on the MOX to switch to a particular FA studio set. Thanks in advance!!!
