After one of the NI upgrades a while back, they deleted the New York Grand. It was my favorite NI piano.

Call me a troll but I dislike this topic.
Now someone will need a safe place, teddy bear, and trophy.

I typically do tests at whatever size. You could do some 11"-scaled sheet music test prints from a printer, and see if you can deal with an 11" or not.

Very cool! I'm too stupid to understand it all, but I get the gist.
BTW, it seems like a Jupiter X + 88 controller would have been a possibility for a band like yours. Did you ever try that?

Yamaha is making great Wurlitzer emulations in new CP and YC series. Even the one in Reface CP is excellent.
Yes, and the YouTube video "Jack's REAL Wurlitzer Vs. Our TOP Keyboard Brands | Blindfold Challenge!" demonstrates this.

This vid just came out today. Which one is this?

How often were you getting calls?
Did you answer any calls?
I've been getting soliciting calls from Sweetwater. I had to write to them to put me on their do not call list. Sweetwater is aggressive and it's the only music vendor that makes soliciting calls to my cell phone. They need to realize that it can also drive customers away. I was looking into buying a Motion Sound KP series amp, but I didn't want to buy from Sweetwater. I found out that Musicians' Friend and its sister company Woodwind & Brasswind carry them also. I also buy from Kraft Music (always get some accessories for the same price) and B&H. B&H is interesting in that they do carry a lot of things including sound gear. I try my best to not shop from Amazon, either. Often I find better deals at B&H. Recently I bought speakers and an iPad 12.9 M1 from B&H and used their Payboo card to avoid the state sales tax. I pay off in the same month. -
Does anyone use in-ears at home? I assume the main downside is not physically feeling the bass and such?

Another issue to consider is how valuable is your time. Are they punctual? If not, are you willing to sit around and wait a few hours while they are "running late".....on the pickup....and return?
BTW, I don't think you mentioned who would be providing the keyboard case.

But listening again with my Senn HD650s, while the CFX is more detailed and even through the higher register, it has a more digital sound and lacks the warmth of my CP4. It can be a bit jarring.
Does the tone knob or eq warm it up? Or does that screw with the overall sound too much?

It's always awkward though when someone gets booted and they have to come get their stuff.

Korg M1. The sounds were amazing at the time, but the biggest thing for me was the sequencer. Korg M1 (sequencer) + Tascam 4-track cassette changed my world.

By putting it on Reverb, is he really putting it in the "hands of creators who can use it every day"?
Won't mostly collectors and wealthy casuals (who will hardly touch it) be buying it?

At 13:29 his keyboard tech talks about the 1988 live keyboard rig: 21 modules, 2 DX7's, 2 D50's, MC500's, etc...

Thanks! That is a good way to put it.
This is a good example of a creative environment. Sometimes a good atmosphere is more important than piles of keyboards. -
Here is my current little affordable living room setup with P-125, MX61 (just got this recently), Behringer PA, TC Helicon, Samsung tablet, old as the hills laptop, etc.. Yeah, got some crazy lights going on!
I play keyboards, sing, and a little guitar. Sometimes I run through sets for vocal practice/training (using the laptop for backing tracks) and running through pa give the feel of performing. Sometimes I jam on keys and sing, and the MX61 is good for pulling up a quick drum beat and setting tempo. I can also work on stuff from not only books, but from YouTube lessons and such on the tablet. The MX61 is surprisingly nice sounding in many ways.
It is also a decent setup for a friend or 2 to jam.
I had a nice Yamaha grand, but it took up almost the whole space. I hope to get a nice digital piano when I can afford it. I really miss playing a real acoustic though, but it is one or the other, since I have limited space.

I have a P-125. Played the FP10 at Costco. I mean, for just a little more money the P-125 destroys the FP10.

I find mine enjoyable to play. Yes, good for organ and synth leads. Never bought a case, as I only use it at home with a PC.

There was a Myrtle Beach shag dance event from 9/18-9/27. The shag community has posted that 100+ attendees have Covid and 10 have died (including 2 musicians). Very sad.
I need help finding a nice sounding battery powered keyboard
