  1. I started with Camelot on iPad, then got the desktop version, and now remote control my MB Pro with Camelot from my iPad running Camelot as master (charts, backing tracks, prg chg, midi remapping, layers, zones, etc.)

Very convenient and flexible if you use mixed hardware and software setups, besides multiplatform  (PC, Mac, iOS)

had a development on my audio dropout issue today. It looks like the issue did lie with Kontakt 7. I opened a couple of my troublesome projects using Kontakt 7  and replaced them with Kontakt 6 running the same library....no problem with audio. Back to Kontakt 7, audio dropouts. I think it was a recent update to Kontakt 7, where the problem started and it coincidentally lined up with me getting the Montage M.

Official update status - Kontakt (current version: 7.7.0)

He is also not using the overdrive circuit at all on the XK5 (you can see that it's off because the LED is not lit).

Neither on the Mojo 61  (drive chicken head next to volume, it's off)

But today I have a problem with the keybed, it suddenly has become super noisy.  I can hear the loud CLUNK of each key, easily 2-3 times louder than before.

Hope the TP110 doesn't have the same issues as the TP100,

The TP100 has an awful reputation for noises and clunky keys after some weeks/months of use,

Wifi network? I thought it had build-in Wifi?

Early units came with wifi built in, later models added an extra external usb port to plug a wifi dongle included in the package

(btw, it's a very generic one that can be purchased almost anywhere, I'm using a TP-Link TL-WN725N)

I think the main contenders for clav on iPad are:

Korg Module (incl. the Organ & Clav Collection IAP)

    Model D6

    Pianoteq

Model D6 shines, same Clav as Mojo 61 and Gemini, there are plenty of examples online, also you can download the Desktop demo to try yourself

  7. Besides finding uninspiring, the C/V of the NS4, (compared to other modern clones) there's another issue that bugs me a lot: Organ 1' drawbar doesn't get canceled when you turn Perc ON, I personally don't get why at least they add a menu option to engage or disengage this behavior (any seasoned organ player will notice that).

One major ass pain is the users guitde is on version 1.0 but the current firmware is still on 0.98. And one of the things yet to be implemented is the category search for the synth presets, making this feature essentially worthless until implemented.

In the meantime, use Nord Sound Manager v.7.70, to scroll thru Programs/Presets

There are around 30 o so well documented bugs in the Nord User's forum right now, with the NS3 took them around 2 or 3 years to have a more or less bug free OS released

  9. This looks useful for anyone with a laptop / ipad based setup

Curious if anyone has attended a match in Europe or elsewhere than the U.S.?

In Europe, going to a Football match it's a very safe thing usually, one of the wildest crows are the ones from Great Britain,

tend to be very overexcited, specially when they travel abroad to root for their teams (aka Hooligans)

Another post on FB that shows a different screen with icons for various things - Movies?

That picture shows Camelot running the new GSi plugin, it will be released also for Mac/Pc, and seems to have fewer features than a Gemini module

“The Key-Largo is not supported by iOS devices. The USB connection on the Key-Largo was designed to be connected to laptop or a computer with a USB port”

There's previous posts about this issue, seems it works thru an USB hub
