  1. Just up on the internet. Thought worthy of its own thread... https://yamahamusicians.com/the-superb-new-yamaha-yc61-drawbar-organ-namm-2020/
  2. Im not saying its not a plus. Just observing that it would be much better if you could have on independent outs, since there are two sets of physical outputs. Thats all.
  3. I'm intrigued by the built-in USB audio capability. In theory that allows you to connect say a laptop with Mainstage etc. and also run the sounds through the main outs - so avoiding the need to bring an audio interface along? If so, that's great. But reading the manual, it's disappointing that the balanced outs and the unbalanced outs are just clones of each other. I can't say any function that allows you to put the USB audio out of one and the onboard sounds out of another. Or, more broadly, even for internal sounds it would be cool if you could route them to either of the output types.
  4. At least the Prophet X now looks a lot more reasonable...
  5. Sorry everyone but another question. I get a high pitched resonance (coming from the speaker, not something else activated) on the E above middle C - most noticeable when playing Nord E-pianos. Does anyone else get this?? Thanks!!
  6. Hi all. I just got a ZXA1 (second hand, but the seller said the speaker had recently been serviced). I've got it at home at the moment - I feel the static hiss is pretty loud. I know these aren't made to be used at home, but still. The thing is the hiss is independent of master volume. Is this normal please???! Many thanks Nick (For reference, I have a Nord going into the line-in, and the mic input set to minus infinity gain).
  7. Has anyone in Europe had any luck getting hold of the v5 at all? I've enquired with Thomann, who say: ---Unfortunately we don´t have a date of delivery yet when the new version of the Space Station will be on our stock. At first we need to sell the rest of the "old version" on our stock. Nick
  8. In case any European friends are wondering, I enquired directly with Thomann and they said the ones they have in stock are all from August 2016, so on this basis it doesn't sound like they have any of the 'v5s'.
  9. Hi Aspen Could you let us know please how we would identify the 'new' SSv3s (the lighter ones) for when they appear in retail chains...e.g. is there a serial number run to be looking out for? Thanks Nick
  10. Hello all. I'm sure this info is in the thread (somewhere) so I'll hope you'll forgive the question. I'm thinking of getting this amp - as well as it's standard use as a keyboard amp, there are two other things I want to use it for (on more of an occasional basis): 1. keys + vox - through a mixer, but vox would obviously be mono. 2. guitar + vox - again, through a mixer, but both would be mono (unless I decide to put some kind of stereo effects on the guitar) I know the 3D effect wouldn't work with a mono signal, but I'd be interested in any thoughts/experiences of how it would work for those two applications. many thanks! Nick
