  1. You steared me towards a haed switcher so that I could use both of my amps through on speaker. I got one and it works great! thanks. Now I would like to isolate the speaker in my combo amp and use it instead of my cabinet. My question is; do I need to place a resistor in the wires that are coming from the amp if I unplug them. Currently with the rig all hooked up I get output from the combo amps speaker as well as the cabinet. With the speaker wires unplugged would I risk the combo amps health?
  2. Thanks for all your help. I will learn and/or get help with the workmanship and proper jacks.
  3. Cool! Is it just simply to unhook the wires from the speaker in the combo and hook the speaker directly to a jack? Should I tape up the wires?
  4. Your help with the two amps into one speaker was spot on. I found the switchers and now I feel dumb. Thanks for your help you are the man. Can I get that single 12" speaker in my combo work for this as well? (portability)
  5. I have a solid state combo amp (with a speaker out) and I have a head. I know that with an A/B switch I can go from amp to amp from just one guitar. Can I go then to just one common head (speaker)? Do I also need a switch at that junction? Thank you, your posts are great.
