Here is a clip from my something I came up with last night between 12:00 and 3:00am. Elements.mp3
Sounds pretty cool man! Made me want to start soloing over it - a nice backdrop for laying down a variety of potential solos!

Well, not new to music, but, yeah, new to recording etc. at home - got the bug six months ago after picking up Logic - very, very, very addictive! So much potential at your fingertips these days....(Liked your Bach-ish reharm BTW) - I need to spend some time crafting stuff that isn't, well, of the commercial song form! The only thing I did with strings really was trying to add some backing to this song - need to turn them down in the mix, but a lot of fun to add...

Thanks! Yeah, I've been trying to get some better sounds all around - just starting out, working in Logic with included instruments, etc.. Lots to learn! Ocean Way sounds unreal indeed!

This piece is one mvmt of a 4 mvmt piece for string orchestra. It's a combination of heavily overdubbed violin tracks and Garritan GPO mainly on lower strings. It's called "Echoes".

Really enjoyed this a lot! Hopefully we'll hear the other three parts :-)

Maybe this will work better!

Well, I'm pretty new here and thought I'd share something that I created @ recorded at home - a tune called "Come Get Your Funky" - I'm a piano player more than a vocalist, so I hope the energy suffices! Had a lot of fun with the organ solo at the end on the way out...... All the best, Michael

Just started listening but very nice/effortless modulations in the first one - sounds like a lot of fun to play over. I could hear Brad Mehldau having a blast on it :-) Still listening......
