Yamaha CP4 for AP and EP. Korg Triton Classic for everything else.

I have the white grand, black grand, the emperor and the old lady. I like all of them. I probably use the white grand the most. It’s bright but cuts through a mix nicely without sounding harsh.

Just picked up Alicia's Keys on sale at Plugin Boutique. It's an older Kontact Instrument but not bad for 13 bucks!

Never used Shimmer but I am another fan of Supermassive. I use it a lot. Sounds great and you can’t beat the price.

I grabbed it for this price. Too bad they don't accept Jam Points for this deal.
Edit - Install was quick and easy. I already had an account but had not installed their new manager software. It went on easy. I had to register the purchase as it does not automatically recognize purchases. After that install was quick and easy.
I already had an account too but forgot my password. When I try to reset it, I don't get a password reset email.
Does anybody know how long it's on sale?

I am also waiting for the confirmation email. I have the iPad version but at this price I’m gonna have to pickup the computer version.

Downloaded your sound set last week. Finally got a chance to mess around with the sounds.
There’s some nice stuff in there. Thanks Todd.

Bought mine here on the forum 5 years ago for a good price. Good EPs and APs and a nice action.

I was using a quilt-lok 2 tier double braced xstand and the one top tier arm broke. I use it as a single stand now and put another double braced x stand behind it. It works great and is much more solid than having the weight of 2 keyboards supported by one stand. I have a CP4 on the bottom and Triton on the top.

Thinking about picking up a Korg SQ-64 at this price to mess around with. Anybody have one?

I think--please correct if wrong--that the downside of Legacy is that you don't get the free (or almost-free, depending on whether you have dark zebra) upgrade to zebra 3 when it comes out. I got regular Zebra 2 a while back on a sale and that was one incentive. I think I read this from Urs on kvr forums back when legacy was announced.
I ended up buying something out of the blue, as I knew might happen. One of the "studio vocals" from 8dio went on sale for 20 bucks ("Jenifer"). It's a solo voice instrument that you play and control, works in Kontakt I think. Back when I first got Kontakt I was really looking forward to getting one of these, hasn't really happened until now (this is a really good price.) What I'll do with it I'm not sure, I don't exactly make a living writing video game soundtracks or anythingYes , you don't get Zebra 3 for free with Legacy. If you bought Z2 before you get it for 29.99.
If you bought Z2 and ZHZ you get it for free.

Not a Black Friday sale but Uhe just released Zebra Legacy.
It includes Zebra 2, Zebra HZ and all of the sound sets for $99.
If you already have Zebra 2 and Zebra HZ you get all of the sound sets free.

Bought an SG-1 in 1989 and used it for gigs for many years. Nice piano sounds and action for that time but it was a backbreaker to lug around.

I bought a DX7 when they came out in 83 and gigged with it for 16 years, then sold it on eBay. If I need any of those sounds now, I use FM Player 2 from audiokit on my iPad.

Or you could buy the big six, skip the prophet and pickup U-he Repro for $149.

Thanks Mike. Just when I thought I was starting to get my soft synth addiction under control.

I also use a CP4 for gigs and am very happy with it.

I got mine a few weeks ago and most of my 3rd party plugins are already mapped. The ones that aren’t are pretty easy to setup. Takes some time to get used to but I like it a lot.
