  1. I use a half moon on my B3, but mounted in a rather unusual place--in front of the F below middle C (right before the Hammond logo starts). It's actually very convenient to grab with a thumb or flick with a finger while walking a bass line, and really doesn't get in the way at all. I use a foot switch when using the Ventilator.
  2. That's an amazing setup, but I feel bad knowing what those keyboards sound like though M-Audio monitors! I was wondering if you get much noise from the neon sign. But that's DEFINITELY a cool setup.
  3. I thought the lyrics to "Precious and Few" went "Precious and few are the moments sweet toucans share..." when I was a kid. If I ever do some kind of beach oriented band, I'm gonna call it Sweet Toucans for that very reason.
  4. My rig at home. Happily, it never needs to be moved. http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/drbrad98/DSC_0003.jpg http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/drbrad98/DSC_0001.jpg http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/drbrad98/DSC_0006.jpg
  5. That's some serious gear porn, and a great production.
  6. Thanks! Scott Jones is the guitar player--he's a monster fusion player.
  7. OK, I'll bite... Here's a recent tune from my home studio. All playing and programming done by me, other than the long guitar solo from 4:15-5:05.
  8. "I ain't NEVER heard nobody play like that before. You must be the Antichrist!" Said to me by an elderly, possibly homeless gentleman, after hearing me trying out a synth at a music store. I guess it was a compliment.
  9. Another St. Louisan here...I've been lurking for quite a while and occasionally posting. I felt like I ought to introduce myself too. I'm 45, been playing since age 4. I did a lot of gigging through the 80's and 90's in a lot of different settings based out of St. Louis, from hair band rock to jazz trio stuff to country to "dueling pianos". I also taught at McMurray Music from 1985-1994, before leaving to go back to school. Now I'm retired from professional playing, but I still try to work on classical stuff and technique for an hour or two a day, and have a nice little basement studio where I can go down and get my Jordan Rudess on. Brad The Gear: Steinway L, Kurzweil PC-3x, Hammond XK-2, Minimoog Voyager, soft synths including Omnisphere, Absynth, FM8, Arturia V-bundle, Trilogy, Stylus RMX, the list goes on...
