    Thanks, can you find me the right guy to speak with? I would love to get L&M on board for Canada, I was friends with Jack Long in the old days, and spent more than a few days training in their shops...it's a great company. I live in Calgary and know a number of people at the main Long & McQuade store here. I'd be willing to demonstrate the SSv3 to them locally if that would help. I could get you in touch with the store manager if that would help - because they're a national chain I don't know how much sway he would have regarding buying, etc.. Regardless, PM me if I can help.     That's it! I vaguely recall inadvertently pressing Upper/Pedal/Lower buttons when trying to load a new version of the operating system so that's likely when it happened. Thanks so much! This is why this forum is so awesome :) Jamie

    I'm having troubles trying to set up a split on my SK1. When I go to set the split point as per the manual, the displays shows LtoP (Lower to Pedal) rather than Split. It's like it thinks it's a SK2 not a SK1. I tried rolling back the OS to v8 from v8.4 to no avail. Anybody have a similar experience? Thanks, Jamie

    It works as advertised. That's exactly what I did when I loaded Jim's tonewheel set. First saved the patches I wanted to keep, loaded the tonewheel set , then reloaded my patches. Jamie

    Last summer... Private gig on the patio roof of a 'heritage' building. Building was three stories with no elevator. Very narrow and twisting staircases. Plus one final narrow staircase to get to the roof. I'm too old for schlepping gear like this... Jamie
