  1. Hi guys, It's that time of the season once again, and I hope some of you can share some of your favorite Holiday tunes reharms!!! Vic
  2. Dave, you're a reharm genius!!!
  3. That was great! Some tech questions if you don't mind..... What sample set did you use for the brasses? What DAW are you using!
  4. That was beautiful Carlo!
  5. Thanks Allan. Do you own a PX-330? Thinking of getting one :-)
  6. Can someone share a reharm done on the Privia PX-330? :-)
  7. Thanks Dave. I know you probably don't want to go the "notation software" paradigm...you're probably to busy for that. But Finale has a simplified version which you might want to check out. After you've written out the score in Finale, PDF Creator is a neat free utility which will convert that Finale file to pdf so you can send it out. Just a thought.....
  8. Excellent as always, Dave. Could you post a chord chart of this?
  9. Thanks for listening SK. Btw, DD was amazing. Wish I could come up with something like that!
  10. Here's a simple reharm of Days of Wine and Roses Days of Wine and Roses
  11. That was great SK. Love your piano sound.... What piano did you use? How was it recorded?
  12. I also notice that the more one reharms, the "easier(?)" it gets...It's still a lot of trial and error to get something that you like...but you're right....we get to try new approaches, and more important, our ears begin to open up more! I need to spend less time on forums too to get to play more, but then, forums like this are invaluable. This reharm thread has really got me into more reharms, and I'm constantly amazed by the contributions made by the reharm gurus here!
  13. I used the Truepianos softsynth that comes with Sonar for this one....however, nothing will beat a true "analog" grand.
  14. Thank you. It was an interesting challenge
