Saw this the other day - so beautiful/masterful/add your favorite adjective. I think Bruce was talented from his first release, but over the years has grown into such a deep artist, not afraid to take chances, change things up and keep his music fresh and spontaneous. I only recently saw him live for the first time last year at Town Hall in NYC, and he had John Schofield, Kenny Garrett and Christian McBride as special guests. So they jammed a bit more, and it was wonderful seeing Bruce calling audibles and following the flow/guiding the proceedings along. A great artist who is at the peak of his powers nowadays.

    Thanks for the reminder.

There's video of the Town Hall concert on YouTube as well.  "Mandolin Rain" is magical.

If I remember correctly his rig was an acoustic piano, a Hohner Clavinet, several Moogs, a Baldwin Electric Harpsichord, a Hammond organ, a Mellotron, and the ARP Omni, Yamaha CS-80 and ARP String Ensemble synthesisers.

John Tout's live rig was never that extensive, I think that was the rig he uses on the "Azure D'Or" album.  I saw Renaissance three times at various  points in their career.  Up through the Live at Carnegie Hall album he used an acoustic grand, an ARP Pro-Soloist, a Hammond B-3 and an ARP String Ensemble.  The B-3 disappeared after that as he only used it on "Ashes Are Burning" and the String Ensemble could handle that.

+1 on the DCO-106.  It was the first CA VST that I ever bought, at $25.  It was maybe the best $25 I've ever spent on gear!  It sounds "Roland-y," is as easy to program as the original, and adds delay and reverb to the package.  Any time I need an arpeggio, I immediately think the DCO-106!

Just got it on sale, $20.  This is gonna be fun.
