Really don't know what caused that unless it was a case of ear fatigue. Went back and looked at the mix levels-nothing really stood out. Gonna go back and overdub the guitar parts and see if that helps. I hate that because i had finally got a nice, loose natural flow going on the improv......man! Arrgh

.......I've been working on for a minute. The song is called "Tara's Rain" and I'd like you guys to check it out. Strange thing about the sound quality....
.....I recorded this on a 2488 Tascam then exported to Protools to clean it up. Thought I got a pretty good mix. However, when creating the simple vid (using DVD SlideShow) and uploading it to YouTube, my "great mix" developed this really edgy effect on the top end like some items were recorded too hot. The original doesn't sound like that. For those of you who have uploaded to You Tube, have you ever encountered this?

Almost anything by this young lady, Patrice Rushen. Labeled as one of the "Rhodes" scholars, not only did this instrument shape her sound, her brand but she easily propelled this instrument to the position of pivotal sound of modern music. Many may not be aware the FMIC prototyped a couple models of the Rhodes specifically for Patrice. One of my early favs, "Kickin' Back"
