As probably the only rap fan in the forum, I gotta say something. That was phat! The soulful singing on the hook was rather ill. The guitar at the beginning was incredible as well. I would have snapped the snares a little more and added a bass guitar towards the end, near the slamming synth outro. The lyrics were entertaining, but I felt that they were not as introspective as you described. Definitely more funk than rap and definitely more entertaining than not.

I definitely am the newbie on the block in here... My name is stuffy, and compared to you all I suck. That's a'ight though. I'm going up out of mind with criminal, mental insanity/ I didn't plan to be/ but I'll be damned if I aint the man to me. I don't have any fancy keyboards, just a cheesy evolution mk-125 midi controller that I try to use to opetate the inner voice of my inferior mother board. I also have a Alesis SR16, unfried but unsyncable and worthless (to me). I like to use cakewalk and soundforge mostly. I love hip hop music. I was raised on the stuff, what can I say. I was raised using a double cassette player as two turntables and recording rap songs in bathrooms and closets for 14 hours a day during summer and 7 during school. I've experimented with lots of drum machines made by casio over the course of time. I would like to get a keyboard one day, probably an Ensonique ASR-10. I also would like to get my hands on a Roland MC-505. I could rule the world with these mere trinkets. You guys probably think I don't belong here, but I enjoy the forum immensely; trying to educate myself on computer based music as much as possible.
